Improved affiliate and publisher profiling on RevGlue site September 10, 2018

RevGlue tools support affiliates and publishers to easily monetise their websites, blogs and apps. Prior to registration the information provided on the RevGlue on the different product and services is nicely segmented, and now once registration is complete the same is also true.

  • Affiliates users are mainly working via the traditional affiliate network route, and earn 100% commission based on using their existing network IDs. The most relevant products for them are the different RevGlue data sets, plug-ins and stats related to the discount vouchers, cashback, mobile comparison, broadband comparison or product feeds niche websites that they can setup.
  • Publisher users do not a have direct relationship with the affiliate networks but still want to monetise their website blogs, YouTube channels, mobile apps, and social media following. They earn 80% commission using RevGlue tools. The most relevant products for them are RevSocial for social media influencers, RevLinks for bloggers, RevAds for dynamic ads creation and RevEmbed to embed via an entire website iframe on your site which is instantly visible to your users.

We are glad to introduce the new RevGlue affiliate and publisher dashboards that offer more relevant tools and information to users. These dashboards are designed by determining the different user profile so that a separate dashboard for affiliates can be displayed with another for publishers with different information.

New Affiliate dashboard

The new affiliate dashboard has some really great features:

  • The left hand panel shows the status of data set subscriptions across each one of the available data niches plus the ability to browse or download all your sales and conversion data from the Stats module.
  • The middle panel shows how you can learn more about improving your affiliate marketing activities – whether that is to book a 1:1 Skype meeting to discuss your affiliate project requirements, creating a unique bespoke site or downloading RevGlue WordPress plugins.
  • The right hand panel is all about customer service regarding any user tickets that are outstanding and the different ways that we can support you to be successful.

For first time users, the dashboard contains a ‘learn how it works’ button that steps through the different elements of the dashboard providing help and guidance on how to use the panel.

  • The right hand panel is all about customer service regarding any user tickets that are outstanding and the different ways that we can support you to be successful
  • You can also book a 1:1 Skype meeting to discuss how to make more money and learn how to monetise existing type of sites and mobile apps.

How user profiles are selected?

RevGlue has introduced a user profile questionnaire that each new user now completes following registration. These are simple questions that identify the user type and understand their requirements so that we can provide relevant support and tools. Users provide answers to eight questions and the RevGlue profiling system will then identify the user type and allocate the right user profile dashboard. See an example question screen shot below.

How existing users can view this questionnaire?

Existing users can also review the user profile questionnaire from their my account section. Click on update profile and run through the questions so RevGlue can allocate the relevant dashboard. See screen shot below.

As a result of these changes we believe the dashboard is now a useful landing page for users when they return to the RevGlue site – providing an easy way to see current product status, commercial position and ‘next steps’ to undertake that will make affiliate marketing more successful.

Good luck!
